​Hey there, I'm Alyssa! I am a mission-driven UX designer and researcher.

I started out in physical product design, earning a Master's from Stanford and Bachelor's from MIT in mechanical engineering. I transitioned into UX in order to deeply understand and advocate for the people I am serving.

I specialize in bringing new ideas to life — balancing business and user needs while meticulously defining what to build and why. My experience includes:

• Mixed-methods research to upgrade employee workflows at the City of Philadelphia and Stanford
  
• Service design of new systems to modernize food access and supportive interim housing facilities
  
• Digital product design for web-based features at Onshape, a software startup
